Where It All Began
Aidan Joyce, founder of Tri-Ant Technologies and a native of Galway, Ireland, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a career in software and technology dating back to 1989. Among his early innovations were a real-time routing algorithm for the London Underground and the first-ever drivers for Microtouch touch screen monitors—projects that quickly brought industry recognition and showcased his forward-thinking approach to technology.
Lessons from the Frontlines
Building on his early innovations, Aidan went on to found Infopoint Systems, a government-backed startup that became one of Ireland’s most successful high-potential tech companies. Within a few years, Infopoint had grown into a global development partner to major corporates, including NCR Corporation, and delivered multi-million-dollar software contracts for companies like Albertsons.
As the company expanded, it opened offices in Ireland, Scotland, Romania, and the United States, developing mission-critical systems used across industries. It was later recognized as Ernst & Young’s Business of the Year, celebrating the team’s impact and innovation.
Eventually, the company’s intellectual property was sold, and Aidan took time out to travel. But the pull of technology — and a growing desire to do something more meaningful — brought him back.
Big corporations had scale, but they lacked soul. Today, we choose to work with creators, startups, and growing SMEs — the ones building with vision, not bureaucracy.
